Favorite Furniture Warehouse

One of my  favorite furniture stores was having a sale.  I love to go there just to see the new styles and decorating ideas but it's a little out of the way. Since I have been thinking about a new leather wing chair to replace an old one I thought this was just the excuse I need to drive sixty miles to a furniture sale. Jim and I have purchased furniture here in the past so this is where I go first. I spent my time here enjoying the staged rooms where you will find accessories, faux floral arrangement, oils, prints and the latest decorating trends. I  thought you might enjoy looking around too.
So what do you think I came home with?

Whatever you guessed I couldn't live without, wrong! I didn't find my chair, but plenty I would love to have brought home. Honestly, this sale didn't have markdowns like I expected or I just missed the best. It was worth the sixty  mile drive, I  did come home with new inspiration for fall decorating.

Mr. Sweet's leather chair is just about on it's last leg..a recliner and it is listing to the left..I keep thinking it will turn over with him just any day...:( He just KNOWS they don't make a chair as comfy as HIS...so don't know if we will EVER get a new one. :))
    Happy Weekend..

  9. I hate it when I shop and come home empty handed. But it is also better not to settle for something you don't want!

Are you going to the game tonight? We are staying home....we decided not to go.

  23. Looks like there was plenty of eye candy in that store. Sorry you didn't find anything to bring home with you though. I sure did like that hydrangea floral arrangement mixed with the feathers. Those arrangements can be so expensive though. You're better off making them yourself.

  35. Hi Emily,
that is a store like my mind. I couldn't effort any of this treasures but just to see it and to collect inspirations, is enough. So many pretty things. The flower decorations are wonderful and I love the big nautilus shells. In ancient times the have been mounted in silver to beautiful goblets. Their other name is "Pearlboat" and that sounds lovely like a ocean tale.
Thank you for your visit and your kind comment. Always love to have you here.
    Best greetings, Johanna

  50. I was going to guess that you came home with ALL of it, but I guess I would have been wrong! I know I would have WANTED to come home with every bit of it! I recognize that mustard yellow settee with the birds in the tree!!! I have that very fabric which I used to create a table linen!!! I used it on a table I did back in March of this year to welcome a young man back to the States. The dishes with all the tags on them would be the perfect complement to that fabric! Gorgeous stuff!!!!
