ST PATRICK'S DAY TABLESCAPE

Celebrating St Partrick's Day

I wanted to give a nod to Saint Patrick when setting a casual table for a breakfast tea and coffee for a neighbor get together. Using my white Laura Ashley table topper, green napkins and shamrock plants it's pretty much ready. Sorry, I don't have the food ready for photos. This evening I will be making my Irish scones to be heated tomorrow morning and I will serve with clotted cream and Irish Kerrygold butter, my favorite and of course Irish honey and jam and a fruit tray. Irish shortbread and oatmeal biscuits are ready made and really quite good. Coffee of course and I have Rose tea I discovered at the Fairmont Hotel while in Vancouver, BC last fall. I wold love if you could join me…...

I truly am of Irish heritage

  25. Beautiful table for St Patty's Day with your RL China. Each pattern is so intricate and look stunning on your table. Your black hutch and decor pieces are very striking. Great pics for your post. Now it's time to think about Easter decor and planning. For me, it means finding boxes marked Easter still not unpacked from our move.

  29. Hi Emily, Yes, I would love to sit here and have a delicious scone and cup of tea and talk about Ireland and all the goodies on your table. The RL china is gorgeous!! And I could imagine living in that little leprechaun house and coming out to sit under the amazing mushroom. I miss Laura Ashley stores! I always found treasures there! I never would have thought to add the Anthro butter dish to this setting but I LOVE the way it pops like a small bright blossom in a meadow. Hope your St. P Day was happy. I think we need a blogger trip to Ireland. Linda
