I always love seeing the beautiful Quimper in your hutch. That tulip vase is gorgeous. I love the way you just tied a red ribbon onto some vintage keys and put them in a pretty plate for a Valentine vignette. And those pecan pies have me drooling. I'm saving this recipe. Thanks for sharing it. And thank you so much for linking to the party.Bargain Decorating with Lauriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13582640485560903639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7291995956909405154.post-91083053735677935832014-02-08T20:33:55.888-06:002014-02-08T20:33:55.888-06:00yummy treats . . . those keys tied with red ribbon...yummy treats . . . those keys tied with red ribbon . . . the beautiful silver hearts . . . They look really good! It's a very different recipe from what we would consider to be pecan pie here in the States, but that's the fun of it! (The Southern bloggers/readers are no doubt having a fainting spell right about now! :-) )

We celebrate occasionally. Depends on how busy Ramon is. He used to always be at work. This year he will be home, though, so we'll probably just do something here. The restaurants are too crowded and the service is less than stellar with so many people, so we'll most likely be here at home on V-day and then go out the following week.

Whatever you do this year to celebrate, I hope it touches your heart! Take care, and have a wonderful weekend!Alycia Nicholshttp://tabletwentyone.wordpress.com/2014/02/05/be-still-my-heart-a-valentines-day-tablescape/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7291995956909405154.post-55457148593632465112014-02-06T10:04:12.847-06:002014-02-06T10:04:12.847-06:00Your Valentine touches look so pretty Emily and th...Your Valentine touches look so pretty Emily and the French-Style Pecan Pie looks and sounds YUMMY!!ℳartina @ Northern Nestinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03492503626430263274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7291995956909405154.post-26358729910903020592014-02-06T09:31:03.649-06:002014-02-06T09:31:03.649-06:00Hi Emily, What a fun idea to mail Valentine cards...Hi Emily, What a fun idea to mail Valentine cards and yours look darling. I have to make something to take in quantity for an event this weekend -- this looks a little more festive than the cookies I was planning to do! I love your valentine decorations and it is a reminder I don't have much time to finish mine. I, too, use old postcards and valentines -- those are up. But I have a wreath and basket and other things that should make an appearance -- and soon!Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.com
