THANKSGIVING EVE

Thanksgiving has always been a favorite holiday for me. My memories from childhood of my mom and dad in the kitchen preparing all the traditional favorites are with me as I set the table for a family dinner for my family. I love the color of Juliska Country Estate, Flint. The color is one of my favorites to use for Thanksgiving. I mixed Flint with the same pattern in blue, I love to mix my colors and patterns.

A THANKSGIVING TABLESCAPE

I finally decided how I wanted to set my Thanksgiving table. I am setting six place settings not sure how many guests we'll have. I am sure I will have to either add more or possibly remove some.  I like to get a head start on setting everything up so I have more time to enjoy baking and preparing our traditional favorites.

I wanted to use my Juliska in the Flint pattern. I love this color for autumn and Thanksgiving. I have been purchasing a few pieces here and there as I found them marked down. I have a few pieces of blue, so I am using those as well. 

For my centerpiece I wanted use what I have so I  my collection of velvet pumpkins was an easy choice. Cascading out of one of my favorite blue containers all this centerpiece needed was to add  a little faux fall foliage. 

I sprinkled in a few acorn ornaments
