IN LIVING COLOR

Keukenhof Gardens

Every spring when the  daffodils and tulips are blooming I’m reminded of the trip to Keukenhof Gardens Jim and I made. A short train ride from Amsterdam is rewarded with the most amazing fields and gardens of flowers. I though you might enjoy a stroll through the tulips with me.
Click on photographs for amazing color.

Fields of flowers as far as the eye can see

The daffodils dance with the breeze

Hyacinths

Postcards from Holland

A beautiful sunset to end the day. I can’t begin to explain how I felt while touring these gardens. I felt I had a little peek of “heaven”!

  17. Hi three. The tulips, it can,t be that this was this year, sadly ther is not much tulips around yet this year. Everything in nature is a month later than normal. Last year on this time the tulips were almost gone because of the heat. There are lts of tulips in the glasshouses thank goodness for that. We go every year except last year and I am sti ll looking forward to go later this month. I love your photo,s make me want to go even more.
    Have a nice week.

  54. Taking the time to smell the flowers takes on a whole new meaning here. :) I can go through this post a dozen times.
Dearest Emily, I stopped by to let you know that after surrendering to a seasonal leave from the shop, I have returned to my previous page, In Stillness and Simplicity. I don't know why I had not thought of it before. Probably because I was too busy to listen. It is a very quiet and simple page which allows me to step away from my art table during this transitional year for our family. I must put the art supplies down for now.
I hope you'll visit there too.
