RIBBON AND RUST





BREAKFAST TEA IN THE GARDEN

The week before Easter while working in the flowerbeds and getting the veranda cleaned up I thought it was the perfect day to set a table for a late breakfast tea. I had to keep it simple, after all it was a day we planned to work in the yard to get ready for our family and Easter weekend. I decided to use my favorite little bistro table and chairs. I love the rusty, paint flaking look and I didn’t want to cover it with a tablecloth. I will probably paint it next year so I'm enjoying the look this year. After cleaning it up I pulled a few pieces of my “Hazelbury” by Laura Ashley. I think it has the perfect spring look to set a table.
