WELCOME SPRING

Celebrate Spring with Beatrix Potter

Here are a few of my Beatrix Potter figures and music boxes I have collected over the years. Some were gifts from my sister and ornaments from my mother-in-law. I love to set a table or vignette using them for Spring and Easter.

These little characters make me so happy! Guaranteed to bring a smile.

Using a wicker basket tray and white linen napkins for a vignette.

Dinner and salad plates and cups and saucers
the Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny Collection by Wedgwood
gifts from my sister

Scatter in a few bunnies for a vignette

Fierce Bad Rabbit and Flopsy

and teapots

We'll also need a very beautiful red brick doll's-house and Tom Kitten

Doll-house Interior

Tom Thumb and Hunca Munca
Poor Hunca Munca, she was looking for rice and found only beads in the canister

Beatrix Potter Ornaments

Benjamin Bunny music box and book collection

more ornaments

This sweet book of Inspirational Thoughts and Quotes by Susan Branch
works beautifully with this happy vignette.
A gift from my dear friend Sarah @ Hyacinth's for the Soul.

After enjoying some of my collection for the vignette I moved some pieces to the back foyer.

To greet all visitors and will
always bring a smile!

Thank you for your visit, I hope you will leave a comment so I know you stopped in.

Happy Spring!

  5. Oh Emily, can you hear me squeal with delight all the way from Michigan? I am! Big huge squealy joyful sounds. I love Beatrix P., her art, her stories, her characters. Everything. I wish I was going to Susan Branch's BP tea at Hill Top in May. Alas. But in spirit I will be there. I think you already are there with all your sweet figures and wonderful dishes. Big smiles here!

  6. That's a village, Emily! So precious. I love how you've brought them all out to play. My time is stretched between decorating my house and styling our booths, so the house doesn't get as many changes. I really love to sit among seasonal decor though. It really lifts the spirits.
    Happy Spring, my friend!

What a special collection with pieces received as gifts from your sister and mother-in-law. They know exactly what you love and treasure. The plates and cups by Wedgewood are so darling too. The teapots and house are just too cute and your breadrack is just perfect. What a collection, love it all!

  21. Oh I am just in love with your collection! They are all so magical. That doll house is amazing. I love how you have displayed it all. I don't think little hands would leave them alone! We loved going to Peter Rabbit - I went twice with two groups of grandchildren and it was a delight for adults and kids.
