MY SUMMER VACATION

BIRTHDAY PARTY AND BEACH VACATION

June is a special time for our family, we celebrate our grandson Connor's birthday. This year he turned three years old. Since he lives at the beach we combine the birthday celebration with our beach vacation. My sister and brother-in-law meet us at the beach where we share a condo for a week.

I started coming here as a five year old with my mom and dad, and Jim with his parents. We naturally started bringing our son Jay here and now he lives here with his wife and son.

Here are a few, well maybe more than a few photographs (after all its my grandson) of Connor's birthday party and beautiful beach towns along the gulf coast.

So have a cool drink and relax with me at the beach.

  13. Hi Emily, of course I made it through to the end! I was clicking on all the pictures to enlarge--I love the beach and that community looks so inviting. Happy birthday to your little angel--he's adorable! I think 3rd birthdays are really fun, because it's the first time the kids really understand and interact with the guests! Is that really a pink bike? I need it! Your son and family are very lucky to live at the beach! Linda

  14. Hi Emily...

What a fabulous way to spend the month of June, my friend! Your little Conner is just precious! Ohhh...and he is at such a fun age! I bet he is loving his birthday beach adventure! Beautiful photos, my friend! They make me a bit homesick for Corpus Christi. I lived there for 30 yrs. before moving to Colorado. Nothing like a little fun in the sun and sand! Thanks for sharing your beach vacation with us...sure looks like fun!

I also wanted to thank you for stopping by and taking a peek at my pink tea today! I sooo enjoyed your visit and sweet note! Thank you, Emily!

    Warmest summery wishes,
    Chari
