  1. Emily, I am completely blown away. Usually I'll see one or two photos that pop out extra hard as the most amazing but every one I looked at seemed to be more glorious than the one before. (I will say your smoker Santas are extra darling and I loved that collage.)But to be honest, I was just dazzled. As lovely as you are. Merry Christmas, my friend!

  2. Oh, Emily! What a treat to get to tour your home, and at Christmastime! Every nook and cranny has yet beautiful displays of collections and floral arrangements. Your tree(s) are outstanding, the table so wonderful with the dishes, smokers and nutcrackers, the kitchen.....I don't think I have ever seen so much of your home at once, and so much Christmas! I love Christmas, and this actually sparks a bit of mixed emotions, knowing I have purged so much of mine. My consolation has been in receiving pictures of family (daughters, niece, and sisters) who all took part of mine and are using them now. Like Jeanie said, this totally blows me away! I know you've spent a good many hours carefully unpacking and displaying all your things, but oh, what joy this must bring to you, your family and any guest who comes to your home. I have a niece who decorates cookies like a professional, but she's never done the checks; perhaps I should challenge her? ;)

Merry Christmas to you and your entire family, Emily! Thank you for this tour. It's been my favorite this season!

  9. Emily, I'm late to your post, but happy I have some leisure time to view each of these photos. I'm so glad you did this. I know it's a lot of work, but my, oh, my do you have beautiful things to share. As Jeanne has said above, dazzling! You and I have different styles, but yet love so many of the same things. It's extra special for me to see how you live with and display your pretties. I envy your wonderfully large kitchen, and the CC lamp looks fabulous on the island. I have mine on a writing table in my office. The French hutch is filled with treasures, and the baker's rack too. I want to zoom in on each photo and study the details. A 9' tree is glorious and all those lights!!! How many lights do you think are on your tree? Nothing prettier!!! I love seeing the collage of the ornaments. If I were to visit in person, you'd find me standing at the tree studying each section to take it all in. I love to see the different ornaments that others have collected through the years.
Our Christmas Eve table was a nutcracker them with lots of tartan and of course, Courtly Check. Oh, how I love this season!!!
Thanks for the tour of your charming home, beautiful friend!

  10. Your holiday decorations were lovely. The arrangement you received from your sister is simply beautiful. I do wish the season could last just a little longer. I have already started putting my holiday things away. All the best throughout 2020.

  13. Gosh, Emily, your home is one of the most beautifully decorated for Christmas that I have ever seen! Every room is a delight for the eyes. I have never heard of "smokers" before so I'm glad that you had a close up of the little smoking figures. I also don't think I have ever seen the darling Christmas Juliska china that you have. I know that is a lot of work to get all of your goodies out and displayed but I really enjoyed seeing it all and I KNOW your friends and family that were at your home in person got a real treat being in amongst your pretties. oh and congratulations for being featured over the the "Love Your Creativity" blog party.
