Burlap Table Runner

After making my burlap and grapevine wreaths here, I really wanted a burlap table runner to use out on the veranda. Everything I found was very pricy and I didn't want to spend a lot of money for something to be used outside. After finding a roll of burlap at Lowe's for under ten dollars I knew what to do. The width of the burlap was exactly the width of my table and I really didn't want to cut it, so I rolled out the amount needed for the length of the table and added the overhang times two before cutting. Placing the length of burlap on the table I then folded it in half. After getting the seam straight I just pressed down on the burlap for a finished look. No need to iron, and this took all of five minutes. Now I'm ready to decorate my tabletop for fall.

Roll to length needed for table and cut

 Fold length over

Press seam down with hand and smooth

Voila!

I'm very pleased with my table runner for a rustic fall look. I will enjoy this look now and later for Thanksgiving I will use a tablecloth with the burlap as a topper. Hope you like my easy peasy idea.
