Happy Birthday "Spring"

Celebrating Spring

Looking for an excuse to celebrate Spring, I didn't have far to go after a walk through my local supermarket bakery. I like to bake my own cakes, but this Coconut Cake was calling my name and I couldn't pass it up. After all I know the cakes are delicious here and an idea was blossoming inside. When I got home I went into the flower bed to pick some beautiful Pansy Blossoms, or Johnny-Jump-ups, one of the editable flowers. I gave them a good rinsing and decide to go all our and grabbed one of my favorite tablecloths, and the tea set is close by in the cabinet so grabbed it too and decide to wish my favorite season a proper happy birhtday. So with hardly any effort and everything falling into place here is my tribute to Spring............

Cake and tea or coffee, a delicious way to say Happy Birthday Springtime.

Your springtime celebration is just beautiful! It was such a wonderful idea to use fresh flowers to decorate the cake. All that color really adds a lot of pizazz to the white table setting.

I would love to have you join me at my linky party each week, as well.

By the way, I just joined you as a following friend, too.
